Dear D51 Families and Colleagues,

As we wrap up the first month of the school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the energy and momentum we’re seeing across District 51. This week, we were able to share some truly historic news from the Colorado Department of Education. For the first time since the School and District Performance Frameworks (SPF/DPF) were created, every single D51 school academically scored in the top two academic ratings. In addition, our district as a whole earned an Accredited rating for the second year in a row, achieving the highest overall points since 2014. These results reflect the dedication of our teachers, staff, and students, and mark an important milestone in the progress we’re making together as a district. You can read more about it below, but I just wanted to share how proud I am of all the hard work happening in every single school and department across our district. We are changing the trajectory of our community one student at a time, and it’s worth taking a moment to celebrate.
